Travel Insurance

Make Sure You Are Fully Protected for Your Trip

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to protect your vacation investment, including accommodation costs, flights, rental payments, and unexpected travel disruptions. A quality travel insurance policy can provide valuable coverage for unforeseen circumstances such as illness, injury, medical emergencies abroad, trip cancellations, delayed travel, or lost and stolen luggage.

Travel insurance is especially important when travelling internationally, as unexpected medical expenses overseas can quickly become costly. Coverage may also help protect you if you are unable to travel due to sudden medical issues, family emergencies, or other unexpected events beyond your control.

For the best protection, we recommend purchasing your travel insurance policy as soon as your deposit and flights are confirmed. This often allows cancellation protection to begin immediately, giving you peace of mind well before your departure date.

Our Flexible Booking Approach

At Grenada Vacation Rental, we aim to be as flexible, fair, and helpful as possible when unexpected situations arise. Please note that for most vacation rental accommodations, deposits and optional extras are generally non-refundable, and in the event of cancellation, the remaining booking balance may still be due in accordance with our reservation terms.

However, whenever possible, we will work closely with guests to achieve the best outcome. With sufficient notice, we may be able to defer your reservation to future travel dates, subject to availability and owner approval.

In some cases, if we are able to successfully rebook the accommodation for your cancelled dates, we may also be able to refund part or all of the remaining balance, potentially avoiding the need for an insurance claim.

While we always do our best to assist our guests, we strongly recommend protecting yourself with travel insurance for Grenada vacations to safeguard against unexpected cancellations, medical emergencies, travel interruptions, and other unforeseen events.
