Our vacation rental and local vehicle rental providers accept major credit cards. You can use traveler's checks all throughout the island. The Eastern Caribbean dollar (EC) is our money, but the US dollar is also accepted. Banks will give you EC$2.67 for every US$1.00 in cash and EC$2.68 for every US$1.00 in travelers' checks.

Local business exchange us dollars at a rate of EC @2.50 for every US $1.00

We recommend that you exchange money at banks because you might not be able to find better rates anywhere else.

The only airport on the island, Maurice Bishop International Airport is about 20 minutes away.

Public transportation (#7 Bus to Mt. Parnassus) is available steps from our vacation rentals.

While not strictly necessary if you plan to use taxis to get around more than twice a week, a rental car is highly recommended to fully explore the island's waterfalls, rainforests, and secluded beaches at your own pace. Grenada Vacation Rentals offer free parking.

Keep in mind that Grenadians drive on the left side of the road and roads are not as wide as you might be use to.

The annual celebration of calypso and soca music takes place the second Tuesday in August.

The average temperature is between 75 and 85 degrees F (24 and 30 degrees C), and there is a cool breeze. The coldest months are November through February. The weather is warm all year, however it does change a little bit depending on how far up you are. From June to December, it rains, and from January to May, it doesn't.

• High Season (Dec - Apr): The weather is driest and most pleasant. Book *at least 6-9 months in advance* for the best selection, especially for Christmas and Easter.
• Shoulder Season (May - June): A great time to visit with good weather and lower prices. You can often book 3-4 months in advance.
• Low Season (July - Nov): This coincides with the rainy season and hurricane season (peak Aug-Oct). Prices are lowest, but travel insurance is highly recommended. Last-minute deals are common.

• Cleaning Fee: A one-time fee is standard.
• Service Fee: Charged by the booking platform.

Local Taxes: Grenada has a 10% VAT and a 1% Tourism Levy.

Our rentals provide basic kitchenware, linens, and towels. We also include a welcome pack with coffee, sugar, and bottled water and a few extras.

Yes, the tap water in Grenada is generally safe to drink and is of good quality. Many locals and visitors drink it without issue. However, if you have a sensitive stomach, bottled water is widely available.

Your first point of contact should always be the host, whose contact information will be provided before your arrival. We are here to assist with any issues, from a broken appliance to arranging a taxi.

Check-in is 3:00 PM, and check-out is around 11:00 AM. Due to cleaning schedules, flexibility can be limited, but you can often arrange to leave your luggage if you have a later flight.

Grenada uses Type G electrical outlets (same as the UK), with a standard voltage of 230V. Our properties have 110V outlets in every room, so no power adapter will be needed on your part. : )
